Hi Everyone. I heard about Maeve's birthday. It sounds like fun. I miss you all a lot. I am getting used to my new nanny. Sometimes she takes me down the street to the bakery and ice cream shop and buys me ice cream.

Yesterday my mom took me to an air-conditioned coffee shop and we did 6 pages of learning--math, writing, and hidden pictures. Sometimes it's nice to find air conditioning. My mom also surprised me by finding a big air conditioned play area in a mall with bumper cars, a train ride, and a real live playground just like back at home. So that was fun. Then we had pizza and it tasted pretty close to what we have at home.

Please write.

love,

Hudson

Hi Hudson:
We miss you too! How fast did the train go? We are happy you found a playground to play at. Mrs. Hoyt received your card today in her mailbox. Thanks so much! We are getting more snow right now and it is cold outside. Our friends that have their snow pants, boots, hats and gloves are outside with Mrs. Ewanow for playtime. Jake and Hannah are our Caring Kids this week. This morning we each wrote our own story about what we like to do in the snow and drew a picture too. Have a nice weekend.
Love,
Your friends and teachers in room 115

Hi Hudson-
What a fun place you seemed to have found! I bet you'll want to go there a lot. It's good to hear that you've found ice cream and pizza there too. I bet it makes you feel closer to home when you have those things. It's funny to think about your needing air conditioning when it's so cold here. Sophie and Max played in the little bit of snow that was on the ground before they went off to school. They love to read your messages. We're going to try to send out some notes to you this weekend. We think about you a lot!!
